STUDENT ACCOUNTS

Students can earn money through several fundraising opportunities. Student Account funds can be used for a variety of music related expenses, including paying for booster fees like uniforms, banquets, and band camp. You can also use the funds to help offset the costs of spirit wear, private lessons, instrument repairs, musical experiences like DSO or instrumental concerts, and music department trips, like Disney, Chicago, or NYC.

SA Transfer Request : To Transfer funds directly to the Boosters to pay for various fees. See form for more details.

SA Reimbursement Request : To be Reimbursed for payments already made. This can cover a variety of approved purchase. See form for more details.

*Funds raised through individual fundraising efforts are owned and operated by NFHS Music Boosters with the understanding that the organization has complete control and discretion over the funds, including the right to use such funds for other purposes consistent with its tax-exempt mission. All funds unused after a student graduates will be swept into the general music boosters account in September. If siblings are enrolled in music classes then the funds will remain available in the family account. IFA (Individual Fundraising Account - ie Student Accounts) activity makes up an insubstantial portion of the overall activities of the organization; and participation in fundraising IFA activity is voluntary.

**Funds raised through the RaiseRight rebate platform are owned by the participant, and not the organization. The participant can request a reimbursement for unused funds, or have the remaining amount donated to the general music boosters account in September. If the donation method is selected, then a charitable tax donation receipt will be issued. If multiple SA fundraising sources are present in the SA, then the RaiseRight funds will be used first, and only funds exceeding the general sources will be considered for EOY allotments.
