SPIRIT OF NORTH RAIDER MARCHING BAND
The Spirit of North Raider Marching Band had a very successful season in 2022 - Join us for Fall 2023.
Any student musician is welcome in the Marching Band -obviously percussion and band instrument students - but orchestra and choir students are also welcome. We are great at finding the right role for each musician! Additionally, non musicians are welcome in Color Guard (no experience necessary).
Marching Band is a great way to get to know a wonderful collection of NFHS students during the spring and summer, before High School starts in the fall. In addition to rehearsals, we have a variety of fun activities and fund raising events.

- Welcome back to school! On Wednesday, August 30, after sectionals, Art Knitting Mills will be at NFHS to take orders for varsity jackets.
- This is not mandatory - Art Knitting Mills gives us a group order discount, and will ensure that the jackets are ready for our banquet (normally scheduled in late November/early December)
- This opportunity is open to 9-12 grades only - 8th graders are not eligible for a varsity jacket (they'll get a bar at the marching band banquet this year, and then if they participate again next year they'll get the varsity letter and can then acquire the jacket, where both the letter and the bar can be attached)
- A $200 deposit is due - preferably at the fitting (checks made out to NFHS B&O Boosters, but also could be paid online before September 6)
- You can pay the deposit on the Payments tab of this website - click on the Marching Band Fees tile
