Performing Arts Field Trip
We are pleased to offer the opportunity for our Performing Arts Students to travel to Florida to perform at Disney Springs and participate in backstage clinics! Please read through the attached documents below for instructions on how to register and pay for your Disney Trip.

- Students will be housed in quads and should select the quad rate
- Anyone interested in Chaperoning MUST contact Sean McGuckin first to confirm available spots. Sean can be reached at [email protected]. Once confirmed, then they can register as a Chaperone. DO NOT REGISTER as a Chaperone prior to contacting Mr. McGuckin.
- Students can use fundraising money from their Student Account to apply to this trip.

Please Note: Disney trips are considered every 4 years, therefore another another Disney trip will not be considered until after the Class of 2026 has graduated.

- May 15-19, 2023
- Estimated cost per person = $2099, based on 100-124 participants. Prices will drop if participant numbers go above 125.
- Prices include flight, hotel, security at hotel, transportation around Florida, Disney meal cards, back stage clinics, performances in Disney Springs and passes to various parks (see itinerary above).
- Estimated trip insurance price = $102 pp - Highly Recommended -
- Student fundraising opportunities are detailed below to help offset the cost.
- ETI will reserve flights from DTW to Florida. Students/Chaperones may be divided into 2 or more flights depending on availability. ETI will work hard to get direct flights.
- The flight portion cost is estimated at $675 and will be reduced if actual costs are less.
- Trailers/U-Haul trucks will be rented to carry instruments, uniforms, and potentially large luggage.
- Only carry-on luggage will be allowed on flights to save time in the airports. Checked bags fees are not included in the total prices and are not preferred.
- ETI will work with the airlines if flights are delayed or canceled during our trip.
- Participants will stay at the Holiday Inn at Lake Buena Vista, a non-Disney property.
- Trip costs are based on 4 students per room
- Chaperones will receive upgrades to double rooms at no charge.
- Night time security will be provided at the hotel.
- Participants will travel via Motor Coach between hotel and Disney venues.
- Students will receive Disney Dollars for meals outside of the hotel ($15 for lunch and $20 for dinner each day). Disney has great alternatives for dietary restrictions.
- Music students will perform at Disney Springs and all students will participate in one or more backstage clinics.
- During non-performance times, students will travel through the parks in groups with designated check-in times/meeting places. If a student/group misses a check-in they will get to spend the rest of the trip with their chaperone.

- ETI can direct families to possible scholarship opportunities if needed.
